About VPSfit
VPSfit answers one question for people who self-host: what's the smallest, cheapest server this app will actually run well on?
The same questions keep coming up on r/selfhosted, in GitHub issues and project forums: "Is 2 GB enough for Nextcloud?", "Why is Immich using 2 GB at idle?", "Which VPS for n8n?". The answers are scattered across docs, old threads and host marketing pages that recommend whatever they sell. We collect them in one place, cite every number, and keep them dated.
What we do
- One page per app, with official requirements, community-reported numbers and practical sizing advice.
- Plan tables pulled from providers' own pricing pages, ranked by price and dated.
- A stack calculator for running several apps on one box.
- Soon: our own repeatable measurements on real VPS plans, published with the raw data (methodology).
What we don't do
- Invent numbers. If we haven't measured it, the page says so.
- Rank hosts by commission. See our disclosure.
- Track you. No analytics or ad scripts.
